If you feel more comfortable and confident and pretty I think your partner will feel the same way?

SO SO proud of you for acknowledging you could use some guidance! 23 years old here and have struggled with depression my whole life so I had none of these skills or routines until recently. I never realized how much better you feel about yourself when you really put some time into self care. I usually shower every other day because I’m mostly at home all day everyday but if I go out I take a shower before bed. I take my pills then I sit in bed and light a candle and take that time to do whatever relaxing casual thing you enjoy, you can read, watch tv, listen to music, sketch, whatever you want that makes you happy and helps you decompress from the day. When I’m ready for bed I blow out the candle and listen to white noise. In the morning i usually stay in bed for a while before I even get up but when I do I wash my face with just water and then put some moisturizer spf on my face, deodorant and brush teeth after I eat. There’s nothing wrong with wearing a ponytail all the time. Maybe try switching it up with some half up half down or braids to add a little pizzazz some days or look up tutorials on cute hairstyles you want to try.
