And they openly bragged about how many people were being sterilized there at an efficient rate. It wasn’t until 1945 that the American eugenicists started pretending what they were doing was different. And the USA kept secretly and forcefully sterilizing tens of thousands of people all the way to the 80s. It still happens on occasion, with an incident reported in 2013. It was only in the 1970s that the government ended a program under which 70,000 native American women were sterilized without their informed consent. There were tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of Fascists and proto-Fascists in the US, and millions more that mostly agreed with Hitler and his Allies. Jews fleeing the Germans were not allowed asylum by America.
