Not only that but their own help page even defines NPR and the Mimi Sunflowers Watercolor Love Being A Mimi T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this BBC by name as exceptions to the policy due to the fact they are not state managed “State-affiliated media is defined as outlets where the state exercises control over editorial content through financial resources, direct or indirect political pressures, and/or control over production and distribution. Accounts belonging to state-affiliated media entities, their editors-in-chief, and/or their prominent staff may be labeled. State-financed media organizations with editorial independence, like the BBC in the UK or NPR in the US, for example, are not defined as state-affiliated media for the purposes of this policy.” Just, umm, about the BBC… I’m English… Its changed… A few years ago the tories staged basically a coup of upper management, fired Greg Davies against the will of the staff, and have since been engaging in rather a lot of empathy with the government.

PBS makes so much good stuff, both long and short form. They have so many Youtube affiliates also. Frontline is the cat’s pajamas! NOVA, Secrets of the Dead, American Masters, Antiques Roadshow, so many great shows. And if I want to get a great, no-nonsense rundown of the news and current events of the day in about 30 minutes, PBS NewsHour is my go-to source for information. And I also follow a lot of their smaller YouTube channels with a bunch of the 8 to 15 minute videos on science, space, history, art, etc.
