The PIP was on my permanent record but did not affect my eligibility for rehire. I just landed a new job which will pay significantly more than my last after about a year. There’s always something better, even if there are tradeoffs. Definitely do not quit. Let them fire you. Enjoy your awesome trip Europe to the Milwaukee Brewers 2023 Postseason Take October Shirt also I will do this fullest, and look forward to a better future in which you don’t have to deal with this shit. Remember, they shorted you by not giving you much pay incentive. Getting fired did not really hurt my chances for hire elsewhere. Your employer has to be really careful about that. It’s more about your privacy than freedom of information. When you apply for other jobs, tell prospective employers that you simply outgrew your previous position, and you wanted to expand or diversify your skillset and experience or something like that; spin it how you want. Sounds like you haven’t been there that long. Extend the timeline of your last job to cover an employment gap, or simply don’t worry about a short gap and leave the last job off your resume entirely.

I’m sure you already know but it’s a matter of when, not if, you’ll be terminated. Employers only do PIP’s to cover their behind. Start applying for a new job now and setting up interviews. Also, don’t quit your job…make them terminate you for performance as you’ll 100% be eligible for unemployment. More importantly, don’t stress about it. Look at it this way, your employer is giving you notice about your termination and giving you time to find another job. I was in your same shoe’s in February. I knew it was coming (my position was redundant) so I started applying and interviewing in advance and had a job offer the Milwaukee Brewers 2023 Postseason Take October Shirt also I will do this day after they let me go. Previous job gave me a severance package, extended benefits, paid out PTO, and I got a two week paid vacation before starting my new (better) job.
