I’m all for investing in things like renewable fuel from soybeans. But the Mike White Special American football quarterback for the Miami Dolphins T-Shirt in other words I will buy this fact I got payments on beans pissed me off. I can store my beans to capture potentially better markets. Can’t really store my pigs. I mean I love what I do. I love continually finding ways to get better, to improve, become more sustainable both environmentally and economically. And the animal husbandry is the side of things I love the most in the farm. I love walking the barns every day, checking the piggies. It’s a job but a passion too. Ever since I was a little kid following my dad around I’ve wanted to farm. I get to go to work every day with my parents and with my brother and I love it. So I’m gonna fight like hell to make it possible for my kids to farm alongside me some day if they so choose. I’d rather not have our food production solely in the hands of a few.

Remember the outbreak inside the meat plants during covid. The companies wouldn’t do anything to help protect the workers and the government of the time sat back while people died of COVID. Now people have strange ailments, brain fog, caused by brain damage from what they said was little more than the FLU. I’ve been around a long time to know that the flu kills people, but I haven’t seen so many young people maimed and killed by a disease. The greatest failure of human policy in our country while the government of the time sat by, while we argued about the politics of wearing a mask. Masks are what is important right? LOL. We have more scientific knowledge than we’ve ever known, yet we acted with less prudence than 12th-century illiterate peasants. Was it worth it guys? Was it worth all the death and suffering that was caused? Will anyone remember your name in 1000 years? Nope. Most of us will be buried in the shallow grave of history on top of those who paid for our vanity and decadence!
