I’d guess someone who you share a very close friend with but don’t quite click with them. So you’re likely to see them frequently in social circles and have a great deal of respect for them but you’d never initiate contact with them or spend time together without your mutual friend or friends present. Yeah, I think those kind of show-up-at-your-mate’s-house relationships kind of disappeared with the Mickey Once A Pittsburgh Steelers Always A Steelers Shirt and I will buy this advent of cellphones. Like, even kids these days will usually ring one another instead of just appearing at someone’s doorstep. I lived in the same building as one of my friends and like a 5 min drive to a few other ones in my late twenties. We’re all financially stable as well. Even then, we still had to schedule hangouts a minimum of 1-2 weeks ahead of time due to everyone’s busy schedules. Sometimes, I didn’t even see them for months at a time. Just think that when those shows aired, millions of people were sitting at home alone watching them. That’s the reality.

I had friends like that living in the Mickey Once A Pittsburgh Steelers Always A Steelers Shirt and I will buy this dorm in college and then we rented a house together. We all spread out after college. I mean, it’s scripted fiction, so not very realistic. What part are you asking, like do young urban adults sometimes meet with a friend group at the same bar/coffee shop regularly to talk? Sure, that’s pretty common. If you want friends, you have to go out and make some. It takes effort and isn’t easy, but if you put yourself out there, participate in activities, arrange friend hangs outside the activity, then that’s how it happens. In my group we are set up usually day or several hours ahead. I can’t even count how many times I have left my car at work for the night because we randomly decided during the day to have few beers in the evening. But the group is smaller than ever before, now I have two people that I can call close friends, but in my 20 it was much more. We just spread apart for one reason or another. Me and my friends all live close to a pub, and we drink around 4-5 times a week. Secret is living close to a bar.
