I liked the way it played in the beta (technical issues aside), but it clearly showed where the business model was heading. At this point the only way I’ll end up playing it is as a hardware pack-in (currently with Nvidia GPUs). If the item can only be earned by paying real money, then it is not worth having, and if that item is better than all the other items in the game, the game is broken period. I just resort back to playing niche single players game like Darkest Dungeon or Starsector. Paid once and I can download all the mods I want to spice up those game because the modding scene is very diverse and free as well. fuck…. im guilty i bought the 5 dollar armour but it was the last time besides the cod4 and mw2 maps to game on, never again since tho. its against my religion now.

It’s moments like these that I dont care if my opinion gets downvoted. I spoke up about this shit years ago and was constantly told I was exaggerating. Mother fucker I was goddamn right the Mickey Mouse Warning I Am A Big Fan Of Disney And Proud Of It Shirt but in fact I love this whole time at the very least it was a cosmetic only microtransaction, that cant be said for most of them today, especially in Diablo Immortal I am wondering why people keep posting about micro transactions here when no one here admits to doing it nor supports it. I wonder what the purpose of these posts are, they def amuse me with how everyone goes wild over them though. Yeah it’s either Shrek’s leather tunic or spend 20 dollars for an armor design that they actually paid the designers to make. Demographic for these games are people suspecible to fomo and people that easily loose connection between money and ingame currency. If you already paid for the game how it benefits the player to pay more? And don’t make an argument about money from shop used for maintenance. Several indie dev studios made one time purchase multiplayer games. I’m kinda disappointed about the Diablo Community. So many people pre-ordered and paid for the extra deluxe version. With dumb people like them, this shit will never end. So my girlfriend is going in for surgery on Monday. With the base game releasing on Tuesday, I wouldn’t have any time to play until next weekend at earliest. For the same price as a movie ticket, I was able to upgrade to play it this weekend, where there isn’t much going on for me.
