Yeah, I’m confused by all the Michigan Wolverines go blue club supports you shirt Additionally,I will love this comments above completely dismissing the dangers. I don’t think they are parents and/or are men who don’t face the same dangers. There is so much violence that happened to people I know when growing up. I mean I can’t name any of my adult women friends who haven’t been raped. One was grabbed off the street when she was 15 and waiting for the bus at 7:30 a.m. Consider how much we as parents are aware and trying to protect kids and a not insignificant amount of crime is still happening. That means the criminals are REALLY trying. No kids are wandering around the suburbs anymore. Do you want your child to be the only one out there? Nope. Yes and No. It is a tactic used by politicians to distract a certain segment of the population into A. making them think they are good politicians, and B. distracts from the fact that they aren’t really doing a good job. It’s fear mongering at its finest. Ask anyone who supports a candidate who harps on bathrooms, or book banning or trans rights…ask them what their taxation policy is, or if the candidate even pays taxes, or supports education, or any other thing that would actual benefit the people the people they represent and they won’t know. It is a distraction tactic. They are also obsessed with true crime and that makes people paranoid. Kidnapping isn’t as common as people think it is but since it’s all over the media they can’t help it.

The serial killer media narrative has worked as a psyop to make people distrust strangers and shelter their children. It’s statistically more likely they will get struck by lightning. world is scary, you want to protect your kids. And while something happening may be unlikely, these are still things that can happen. There’s definitely a difference in attitude compared to when I was a kid. When I was a kid in the Michigan Wolverines go blue club supports you shirt Additionally,I will love this 90s, we’d run around town and our parents wouldn’t know where we were all day and no one gave a shit. I can’t speak for 90s parents but nowadays it feels very scary to leave children unattended in public. Wendover Productions on Youtube has a video called “The System that fuels Media Negativity” which explains this perfectly imo. Statistically American news is the most negative news in the entire world. Lots of people live in fear because of the news, even if you don’t watch it, it influences those around you.
