No, indian men dont just hate dark skinned girls. they dislike dark skinned guys too. and this is coming from a brown skinned guy btw. i dont want to generalise and say everyones evil but people with similar complexions will relate when i say we really are taken at face value. its important to remember that racial or color based discrimination is mostly propagated by people who themselves have not achieved anything significant in their lives and struggle with their own self esteem and hence feel the Michael Jordan his airness bulls guard-forward shirt Furthermore, I will do this need to put others down to feel better about themselves.. having a dark complexion should in reality be celebrated, as it means we’re tougher in the sun and have a god given defense against sunburn and other such conditions. and you can still can be pretty while being dark. its all about your outlook. if youre surrounded by assholes who cant see beyond your skin color, get yourself some new friends. keep your chin up, you melanin queen. youve got this.!

Kid, you are young. Well, my preference is dark skinned women. Draupadi was dark skinned, Krishna was dark skinned. You will find your love in any case. You anyways wont want a guy who likes white skin. Really? You deduce that all from the Michael Jordan his airness bulls guard-forward shirt Furthermore, I will do this way they look at you? Boys stare for all kinds of reasons, ‘horrid’ isn’t usually one of them, and cannot usually be deduced from a look. You’re reading too much into things. Stop worrying about these nonsense, work your ass off to be the best at what you’re good at, and the whole world will be at your feet. I wouldn’t say hate, but sadly, there is a lot of colorism in our society. It is particularly sad that this is happening in india. In our culture, Krishna ji is known to have beautiful dark skin, which has been described as ‘dark as the rainclouds’ in our texts. The most beautiful and alluring figure in our culture is described as having had dark skin, but in our post colonial society, we look down upon the same. Things seem to be getting worse as korean beauty standards are gaining popularity, due to their increased global pop culture presence, and their standards are even more colorist. But, i think you can rest assured that if the most celebrated and revered icon of love and beauty in our country(that makes up 20% of the world population), Krishna ji is dark skinned then it most definitely is the extremely fickle societal beauty standards that are to be hated and not the tone of our skin. Our skin is one of the most literal inheritances from our ancestors that we carry with us every day and we should do so with pride.
