I wasn’t a sporty kid and if I had taken it home for her signature she would have talked me out of it. Instead she had me play the Miami Hurricanes Ncaa Ho Ho Ho Christmas Shirt in contrast I will get this whole season and spend the whole time afraid my glasses were going to get broken. Not my smartest idea. I forged a permission slip my senior year of high school for a Spanish class field trip. We were celebrating taking the AP Spanish test, and planned to walk to a nearby public park and eat tacos. I don’t remember if I forgot, or what happened, but I didn’t get the permission slip signed. The morning of the field trip, my teacher goes “ChemNerd, you didn’t turn in a permission slip. Here’s another one. Please have your mom sign it. Just text her to tell her that you’re going.” So I signed it in front of her and gave it back.

To be fair, I was a straight-laced kid and my parents trusted the Miami Hurricanes Ncaa Ho Ho Ho Christmas Shirt in contrast I will get this same teacher to take me to Costa Rica during spring break six weeks prior. I was sure they’d be okay with me walking a half mile to a public park. I used to forge my dads signature so much that one time I had him actually sign a slip and they called me down saying I forged it. They called him and he backed the signature up so they were dumbfounded. We have very similar handwriting so that helps. I once forged a note from God, and presented it to my mom. Needless to say, she didn’t believe the signature on it was real. My mom taught me to sign her name so I could sign her credit card slip and pick up her JC Penney’s orders from the mall when I was 8. I used to ride my bike the mile to the mall and pick up her orders. My parents never realized they were supposed to sign report cards, so I just signed those too, and wrote my own notes for when I stayed home sick or forgot to do my homework. Nobody ever noticed, and my parents never cared enough to ask about my report card.
