The issue is the Metallica Wings Pittsburgh Penguins Lions Logo shirt it is in the first place but dandelion that is spreading is not a native type to North America, so it is an introduced species. I’m not sure if dandelions are included but i remember that the first weed killers destroyed a lot more plants then intended and instead of changing the formula they just claimed that it worked as intented and all plants that are killed are weeds. So a lot of plants were suddenly considered weeds that were never meant to be one. Over time and with new generations people accepted it as facts so there’s a lot of confusion with stuff not making sense Interesting overlap here by thread starter. A lot of knowledge about the dandelion but limited knowledge of what a weed actually is.

Because having manicured lawns became a sign of wealth last century and Americans still haven’t let the Metallica Wings Pittsburgh Penguins Lions Logo shirt it is in the first place but unhealthy practice die I thought it was because weed killer spray when it was first invented killed a lot more plants than they thought it would. So they just started listing anything it killed as “a weed” Because if it’s beneficial to the human health and a company isn’t getting money for it, it’s deemed fit to spray weed killer on it Many people want a thick lush expanse of green grass with nothing else, so they call the plants other than grass that dare to grow there weeds. Personally things like clover and dandelions don’t bother me at all, it’s all good to me. I will cut down thorny plants and trees where I don’t want them growing. Because the gardening industry has spent a fortune convincing you you need a bowling green smooth manicured lawn with no other plants anywhere on it. Depends on how you look at it. Its good for erosion control and can withstand foot traffic better than most other ground cover plants. Mostly because they’re very good at colonising an area of ground and turn up in people’s lawns. If people want to grow them for salad greens, that’s great – but most people don’t.
