Not all homes are treated with the Merry Trucking Christmas Truck Driver Jingle All Shirt Also,I will get this same level of care & comforts. There is a difference between vacation homes that the hosts actually stay in and enjoy their usage out of it vs simply a business that the owners will never stay a night in. Even in non-rentals, you’d be surprised how poorly most people choose to furnish their homes. I’ve been in expensive homes where the owners had IKEA or hand me downs furniture that were all mismatched. I was met with a bad tasting reality sandwich. My guest f’d up the expensive couch that i bought in less than 2 years. F’d up the bed in about the same. I think it depends on your price point. I rent my airbnb for $500 a night and at that price, I include high end items because I think the higher price point and the people willing to pay it are a bit different in how they take care of my place. I haven’t had anything substantial broken, but did have some spills that I was able to wash and towels I was able to replace. It’s not really about profit for me. I turned an apartment I was living into for years into the airbnb and moved in with my boyfriend, so naturally everything in it is the stuff I bought for myself. Yeah, we’ve gone back to hotels. With dingy homes, cheap crap, all of the cleaning demands (we’re very clean and tidy people) and fees we do much better at a hotel. Now, if there are more than 4 of us we do look at abnb, but it’s not a go to anymore.

Maximize those profits. The rare one where you treated like an actual guest is soooo amazing. It was such a great idea to start but than got bastardized into the Merry Trucking Christmas Truck Driver Jingle All Shirt Also,I will get this current version, like everything else, where every dirt patch most be fully monetized. Well I’d say 40% are. Used to be 15%! Weird thing is that Airbnb gives them all superhost ratings because of the fake staged ratings system. It’s become a last resort now for me. Yes. And the reviews are useless because every property has a 4.8 or 4.9 review average. It’s impossible to find actual helpful feedback to help pick a rental. Hosts tired of having furniture broken and don’t realize it’s because they are buying residential furniture in a commercial situation. A chair made for standard household usage isn’t the same as the wear an Airbnb gets.
