OP I’m saying this as someone whose father died this year after a brief bout with cancer. The time comes for us all. Spend the Merry Nightmare Shirt and I will buy this limited time you have left with her being truly with her, saying and hearing what had been unsaid and unheard, and not chasing experimental treatments that might buy a month. I wish you all the best. It’s her choice to do all this, she’s been in control of her treatment. I’m not sure why people are acting like I’m dragging my mother to Germany. While it would be expensive and unpleasantly long, have you considered a cabin on a ferry over to mainland Europe (probably France) and then driving over to Germany? That way you can minimise the amount of contact with others. And, your mum could lie down while on the ferry and use a private bathroom. nothing to add, just wishing you and your family the best. i really hope you get there and the treatment works.

Far shot, but maybe ask in some private pilots forums if anybody does a flight to Germany the Merry Nightmare Shirt and I will buy this next time and will take your mother with them. Or search for charter flights, maybe they will give you a big discount when they hear about the reason for the flight I’m so sorry about your Mom. I took a quick look at a random BA flight to Munich the other day and saw that the altitude flown was flight level 370, or roughly 37,000 feet. This is likely representative of all flights on the route. Your best bet is to book a private flight with the 20k altitude restriction request. Edit – Even if you can get the flight at 20K, there will still be pressurization. Most commercial flights are pressurized to the equivalent of 8,000 ft in altitude. 787s are pressurized to the equivalent of 6,000 ft of altitude.
