In the Merry Chiefsmas Kansas City Ornament Colorful shirt Apart from…,I will love this Middle Ages, boar hunting was a favorite sport of the aristocracy because wild boars were murder on legs. Before Brits were exposed to enough foreign animals to start referring to mighty warriors as lions, they called them boars. King Arthur was the Boar of Cornwall. I don’t know how similar modern wild hogs are to medieval boars, but even with modern firepower, not many people are eager to hunt something so dangerous that King freaking Arthur was compared to it. I live in the south and I’ve never even seen a wild hog in person. Maybe they aren’t really around my area or something, but I see deer almost every day and everyone hunts them, I’ve seen ducks, turkey, bobcats, coyotes, and no hogs. I imagine if I saw hogs running around somewhat often that I’d also hear about them being hunted.

You have to find them, kill them, drag them out of the Merry Chiefsmas Kansas City Ornament Colorful shirt Apart from…,I will love this woods, prepare them (safely) and then cook them… and they still might not taste great. Its a lot of work and unless you really know what you are doing, you will have to pay a butcher shop to prep the meat for you. It would probably be easier to buy a fishing pole I think many people underestimate how big and angry a wild hog can be. On top of the fact that they are not just living in a random persons backyard. its also not a simple task to prepare an eat an animal you have killed. these are skills many people do not have. Everyone doesn’t have the skill, inclination or resources to go hunting. And there’s also a bit of a social taboo against eating wild hogs for some reason, although I don’t understand why. The meat on the bigger hogs can be a bit stringy and gamey, but the smaller ones are delicious. But there are plenty of people who do hunt them. I used to volunteer at an exotic animal sanctuary, and people who hunted for sport would drop off the carcasses for us. Great source of food for lions and tigers.
