Oh I’ve had this before. They do it in B&M too. They were selling them in B and M as well as Caramilk flake as well. Expensive but lush. Not sure if they are still selling them. I’m not sure if I’m totally misremembering this – but I swear there was an episode of The Apprentice UK, where they had to make a new chocolate bar or a selection box of chocolates. And from memory, I’m pretty sure one team added popping candy or something similar to their chocolate and all the ‘experts’ and Lord Sugar said it was ridiculous and trashed on the idea. Cadbury: “Hey look at this wacky chocolate we’ve created. It’s chocolate, but with sweets and popping candy in it. It’s weird, but delicious!” It was a small selection… probably the only episode I’ve ever seen. That one and the one with the airline called ‘Pop’ ! Omg!! Those ones are delicious, sadly I’m intolerant to lactose (but I still love it) so I really do have to ration my intake. But yes I’ve troughed and entire bar watching crap TV then wondering why my stomach feels iffy… This is no longer true though, I think they swapped the majority of the milk for palm oil when mondelez take over….

First bite you kinda like just because of all the sugar and then realise its not actually very good Lol! It’s ok. I used indigestion as an excuse to eat an entire tub of ice cream (strawberries and cream) last night. A glass and a half of pam oil in every bar. A sugary bar of chocolate flavoured wax. Thanks to Kraft and it’s shareholders. Maybe not as good as the Belgians, but it’s still easy to get proper chocolate made with cocoa butter instead of palm oil. Coop own brand or milka are both cheaper than cadbury and don’t have any veg oil. That’s why I get chocolate such as Tony’s or Ritter sport. I also don’t get everyone in this thread hyping up current dairy milk. Do they all hate themselves? Tony’s is not bad, but the price is ridiculous, Ritter is good too, I think Sainsbury’s own brand is close to something like the old CDM, but it’s criminal what Kraft did to Cadbury’s. It was a top notch quality product, famous around the world , that was devalued, cheaper ingredients used and flogged for a fast buck. Couldn’t agree more. I was also pissed off when the Dutch took over HP sauce but at least they didn’t bollocks up the recipe to save a couple of pennies per bottle.
