None of the Merry Bookmas Christmas tree shirt in other words I will buy this Arab states want them. Palestinians have no historical ties to Gaza. It was established as a refugee zone after the Arab countries previously attacked and tried to eliminate Israel. Egypt ran it for nearly 20 years and provided no process for residents to gain permanent citizenship or residency status. Somehow the narrative has become that Israel is responsible for feeding and supplying this population that largely exists where it does due to antisemitism and a rejection of a Jewish state. Because the last time Jordan and Lebanon took them in they started civil wars. Everyone sees the Palestinians as a massive liability. It’s hardly unusual for countries to not want to take in millions of refugees, in fact I’d say it’s normal. Countries surrounding Israel have already taken in lots of Palestinian refugees, they know that they will never be allowed to return and that it only encourages Israel to take more land and do more ethnic cleansing.

Iran is the Merry Bookmas Christmas tree shirt in other words I will buy this major supporter of the Hamas military and sends them hundreds of millions of dollars per year. Iran also isn’t in the top 25 countries in terms of Palestinian population or refugees. They’re not taking in refugees, they’re fighting a proxy war with Israel. The US gives billions to Israel in military aid. By your definition, the US is in a proxy war against Palestinians. The US is always fighting or supporting the military of someone, that’s no surprise. So it sounds like we agree that Iran is in a proxy war against Israel then? My point is no one is using that language to talk about the US role here. There is a convenience in denying people an autonomous state as Israel has done to the Palestinians. No State ? No legitimate army only terrorists. No seat at the table for decisions made which effect an entire population. First step in justifying genocide: dehumanize the ones you want eliminated.
