Wait wait wait. You mean there is evidence that perhaps a 72 year old Supreme Court justice maybe JUST MAYBE isn’t as sharp as they once were and perhaps is showing signs that they should have retired 10 years ago? Undermining the Merica Rainbow American Flag Independence Day Patriotic US T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this legitimacy of the SCOTUS is likely an intended effect of all this. Reducing confidence in national institutions is one of the key ingredients for a fascist takeover to happen. This is what calls these Justices judgement into question? It’s an awful decision but if you haven’t had a problem with their judgement since Citizens United you’re just wrong. Correct me if I’m wrong, please; would a “quick child” be defined as a fetus post “quickening” and that was usually the first noticeable movement within the womb? I guess he’d argue to equate that to heartbeat now? So the earlier pregnancy detection gets, the sooner that fetus is now a person with more right to the body of a pregnant person than that person has themself. Gotta love how medical and scientific advances are leveraged to roll our rights back in time. Equal and opposite reaction… or something. I don’t know. I’m so fucking sad of having and hearing and rehashing all the same arguments since I was old enough to know abortion existed.

Would these zygotes ever have to successfully become a human in order to claim them as dependents? I’m an attorney. I’ve read thousands of court opinions, including hundreds of u.s. Supreme Court opinions. Some are good. Some are bad and poorly reasoned. Alitos draft is hands down the worst exercise of logic and legal reasoning I’ve ever seen in my fucking life. It wasn’t already in question when McConnell rammed through three unqualified federalist stooges in record time?
