Gym, my doggos and kitties, naps, dinner with loved ones, and just keeping in mind that things will work out in the Mental health awareness usa flag T-Shirt besides I will buy this end. Keep your head up Acceptance and focusing on what I can control. They go hand in hand. Also, acknowledging that 5 degree shifts rather than 180 degree turns will get me to my goal, so I don’t expect drastic behavior or action of myself, rather, I work on improving a bit every day (like Kaizen). I set myself goals and imagine what will happen next if I don’t achieve any of my dreams and goals and it motivates me a lot because I don’t want to live my life for nothing. Idk about proud, but it’s so satisfying to go to airsoft and shoot a 12 yo in the face mask or scare them with a grenade when they’re being a toxic little shit.

Sleep/napping. If I’m feeling any extreme emotion, crying, anger, or depressive thoughts, sleeping always acts as a reset button for me. I wake up calmer and in more of a neutral mindset. Listen to music, specifically songs that make me feel self-empowered. Like Disney villain songs or soundtracks from Action/Adventure films with cool battle sequences I cover my ears(?) or leave the Mental health awareness usa flag T-Shirt besides I will buy this situation- I don’t really have coping mechanisms other then stimming that’s why I went to a mental hospital lol Deep breath, talking about it, partner regulating, task management, recreation. And then general self care I have no appetite but I must eat at least part of lunch for example And when I’m injured and can’t do that I just stop thinking life is so much better when not a single thought goes through your head though I do lock back in and fix my problems regularly Take my motorcycle out till everything is back under control or go to the range and let off some rounds till I feel better. We had a saying in my unit in the Marine Corps: “embrace the suck.” Meaning there are times when you have to do something that really sucks. Instead of fighting against it and making it worse, try to make the best of the situation. When I ran my company on average l would encounter 14-15 problems, a day, with over 190 employees plus office staff it happens. For example 1) my supervisor is stuck in traffic at the time he supposed to be at the yard his truck overheating.2) his crew of 18 men are on the clock waiting for him, ready to start new project. They never been to.3) tractor on another project won’t start.4) concrete pump on another project, hose is plugged up with hard cement. And two cement trucks full of cement is waiting to pump out there cement. Ect.. This was daily, and if for some un godly reason I didn’t squash the problems day 1 they would supplement the next days set of problems. There were few expectations and I would have a few less problems, but usually that avg was solid, I know looking back at my daily problem logs. So it goes without saying I respond the same with my personal life, as well as I did with my company I go out of my way to avoid future problems. Like in the case of supervisor who overheated his truck, I didn’t repair his truck I took him a brand new truck in hopes to avoid same issue. Life’s gonna throw one curve balls, just got to knock them out of the park as there thrown your way. Yes I played baseball over 17 yrs.
