God, thank you. Recently the Menasha high school reunion class of 1983 shirt Apart from…,I will love this “see less of this” option doesn’t seem to be working, it just keeps showing me subs I’ve said i don’t want to see over and over Damn. Reading the comments I was like what the jell are they talking about… but I am using Apollo. So of course I only get what I subscribe too… no ads or anything. Nope, I’m seeing this bullshit on RIF as well. They’ve made the feed algorithm much worse in the past few months. That’s weird. I’ve always used Baconreader and have never seen any suggested or promoted posts. I didn’t even realize that was a thing until I tried the official app. The only ads Baconreader has are banner ads which are very easy to distinguish from regular posts and ignore, unlike the way the official app tries to disguise them as regular posts to get you to click on them without realizing it.

Huh. I thought it was me who tripped over some algorithm nonsense, but it sounds like we’re all getting the Menasha high school reunion class of 1983 shirt Apart from…,I will love this same shit. You randomly get new subs in your feed. If you look at them long enough the algorithm decides you like them and keeps showing them to you. On the app there’s an option to stop seeing things from a specific community. How recently have they begun doing this? Is it only on new.reddit and the official app? I use old.reddit with RES daily and this is the first time in my 8 years here that I’ve heard of them doing this. I don’t order uber eats or doordash anymore because of those subs, triggered my social anxiety, I don’t want to be rhe reason anyone has a bad day. You’re only seeing the noteworthy stuff. I’ve delivered almost 1,000 meals and have never had anything beyond a 30 second casual conversation. Reddit thinks I work at Staples and won’t stop recommending me that subreddit. I honestly have no clue why. The poor little algorithm is feeling a bit overwhelmed lately:( I’ve been getting notifications and posts from subs particular to suburbs of cities on the other side of my country (Australia) It’s all I see, too. I block, mute, and don’t click on them. Reddit probably has a tie in with their profits someway.
