Woman charges into the Memphis May Fire Shield shirt and I love this store and starts screaming at the manager, threatening to sue. The store, you see, is responsible for damage that occurs in its lot (in her mind at least). Being a kid with nothing to lose, I poked my head into his office and told him – right in front of her – that she left the cart that damaged her car. Woman leaves with her tail tucked between her legs. My favorite is still that one time someone put the cart in the parking spot next them them while the cart corral was literally in the next spot over. That lady was fuckin livid lmao I worked at a mid sized chain liquor store during holiday season. Not Walmart sized, but think of a smaller grocery store size. And I gotta tell you, even though yes I do put my own carts away because I’m not a heathen. . .cart duty was the best duty.

I went shopping at Walmart today. I had just got my groceries loaded in my car and took my baby out of the Memphis May Fire Shield shirt and I love this cart child seat. Was about to look for a cart corral when a man wearing a hi-vis vest, smoking a cigarette, came up to me and took the cart. I was grateful and he was happy to keep wandering the parking lot looking for carts and chain smoking. It’s such a small thing in reality but there’s something about people not putting back their carts that makes me feel like society is collapsing, lawlessness is rampant and everyone is a sociopath. How well spaces are the corals though? You can see here that there isn’t one nearby for at least 10 spaces that we can see, could be another 10 behind the photo before you get to one. Put a coral right in the middle of this mess and it will solve a good 80% of the problem. For some reason stores cannot figure out how to plan out corals. It’s just some foreign concept that has no meaning to them.
