Came here to say this, but damn you were first. Well it don’t matter, I’m just glad the Memorial day we remember a we honor american flag T-Shirt moreover I love this real answer is out there so people will know the truth. I’m pretty sure they classified pink as a colour of hard work and blood, and blue as a colour of serenity, care and peace, unless I’m mistaken In Victorian times, boys were dressed in pink, and girls in blue. Pink was considered a ‘masculine’ colour, while blue was a more ‘feminine’ colour. It began to change around the 1940s I believe. Because Mary was drawn in blue, it was considered a soft, feminine colour. Pink was seen such as red and purple, masculine and string. Kids were called “girls” regardless of gender and were dressed in white, long dresses.

Exactly this. The meaning of those colora has changed. If I remember right the Memorial day we remember a we honor american flag T-Shirt moreover I love this blue was connected to calm sky and ocean and girls were more calm. Ok here’s a theory, what if pink is still considered a masculine color but it was “assigned to” the girls to attract the opposite gender and vice versa Pink used to actually be the colors for boys before the Holocaust. During WW2, homosexual men that were interred into the concentration camps were made to wear pink triangles. Due to this, the correlation between feminization and pink kind of spread to the rest of the world. Afterwards, Mamie Eisenhower wore a pink dress as her inaugural gown and it sort of became the solidified of pink being a woman’s color. Blue used to be seen as a very dainty and fragile color. Now, it’s seen as a strong color due to history. I didn’t know that–I knew that homosexuals were yet another target of the Nazi regime, but I didn’t know about the pink triangles.
