Though I did have a friend who successfully managed to quit real cigarettes using them. He said the taste of them alone was enough to make him never want to smoke again. the title says they use tea leaves, so I figured that would probably taste really good… then I realized I don’t think I’ve ever smelled burning tea leaves. it’s probably not nearly as good as the beverage. It’s weird, but I kinda like them. It makes for an amazing placebo when you’ve been standing round on set for hours and the ADs won’t let you off and you ran out of tobacco last Friday and the agencies haven’t paid you for that work you did 10 weeks ago. With enough imagination and existential apathy, you can turn that fake cigarette into anything! How is burning newspaper not worse than cigarettes? I’m a former smoker myself and now a brewery owner and I have to say, there is an oxidized off flavor in beer that tastes like newspaper and good God fuck that shit 1000x over having a smoke
