God doesn’t like grifters, and that’s what this amounts to — getting a free ride on HD’s and the Mary autumn shirt Also,I will get this vendor’s dime. It’s unethical. Last summer we had a gal come in on Friday and buy all 8 of our head-high ficus trees in 16″ tubs. Those suckas ain’t cheap. Brought ’em back Monday morning. Not a thing wrong with them, except of course nobody bothered to water them. She just wanted free plants to decorate her wedding reception. Offer to sell them plastic plants. Then they can just spray some Febreeze on them if they want them to smell nice. Are you charging a restocking fee? Tell her she’s only going to get 700 back each time and she’ll stop. And do you sell the flowers or are they in bad shape when she returns them?

As a general manager for a retail store that sells $50mm a year: this falls under “return fraud” and you absolutely, 100% have the Mary autumn shirt Also,I will get this right to deny service. Return fraud comes in many different ways, one of which is buying something with the intent of returning it. If you want to put her In her place, just shake your head and tell her that it is a very poor witness of her faith. Tell her another Catholic said so. this shit is what happens when you let customers walk all over you. someone let her do it once because “oh she’s a nun, let’s be nice” and now that store is losing money. people even bought the $40+ mini trees and would just return the pots with a twig in them . certain stores will flat deny them if they don’t look right , but one store I was at had a multimillion dollar garden nursery . the supervisor would return ANYTHING . even without the receipt , just because they made so much money .
