The alternative is that he would inevitably have to abandon his family, and all personal relationships, for a life with you outside of the Marvel X Ferxxo Poster 2023 shirt and by the same token and church. They black list and excommunicate. I’m not a cult leader, but from my understanding that’s why many movements get members to doorknock, preach, shout on streetcorners and generally be as disruptive as possible. Those tactics aren’t strictly for recruitment. The point is for the missionaries to get a bunch of doors slammed in their face, come back home tired, frustrated & unsuccessful, and then they’ll turn to the movement to seek emotional support. Successful recruitment? Congratulations, your success is proof our methods work & you should devote yourself to us even more. Someone is rude, aggressive or violent towards you? That’s just proof that outsiders are cruel and you can’t trust anyone unless they’re One Of Us.

Reminds me a little of when conspiracy theories get really bad: proof that I’m right means that I’m right, proof that I’m wrong is actually proof that They’re trying to shut me down for being right. My brother is a jehova witness now. The last person I ever though would be into such a thing. He use to fuck with gangs and shit. He settled down and I guess he wanted to find God and ended up there. He is very isolated from everyone. No birthdays, no Halloween or Christmas or anything. Our other brother stayed at his place for one night and told me that the Marvel X Ferxxo Poster 2023 shirt and by the same token and religion was all he would talk about. His kids are very weird in a way according to him. she will be broke. all or nothing commitment means spending all your money on their stupid classes. its a big ponzi scheme. here is a youtube channel by a guy who grew up in it. he calls it a family destroying cult. Any chance you can explain a bit about the religion? I’m confused because you say anyone not in their cult is isolated… but yet he met OP who is not in his cult? I’m just a bit confused by that part tbh, but I also know nothing about this religion or cult or whatever so any information would be appreciated!
