Rushing itself is not really an issue. It’s why you are rushing. Everyone is going to have to rush to do something. If you’re doing it all the Marvel Spider-Man Symbiote Comic Shirt Besides,I will do this time then yes it’s a problem because you’re likely bad at planning. Could you have an inflated sense of this? I think all people have it, so maybe yours (and mine) is just a lot stronger than a normal person? agreed – we really are rushed and its odd – all the good stuff (creativity, learning etc) comes from going slowly and with focus. I realized this today while watching a video lecture. This video lecture takes more time than reading the book (a practice my father is advocating for), but with the video lecture – as long as I am actively paying attention, I ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND the content. I don’t doze off thinking about what designer bag I want to buy “once I pass my exam” or what eye makeup I’m going to wear to a friends wedding – I’m fucking present and I’m fucking learning. The slowness is worth it. However, if I get bored with the video lectures and feel like the content is easy enough, I go back to the book reading.

We obviously rush because of outside influences, but there can be ways we implement discipline to be in the Marvel Spider-Man Symbiote Comic Shirt Besides,I will do this moment. We can use pomodoro technique to do value add work and set aside a 25 minute block for emails/logistical crap. Its not perfect and some jobs (especially well paying ones) condition you to be in “fire putting out” mode. I think these are also tests for our internal calm and slowness. Ray Dalio says that meditation makes you like a ninja because time slows down for you and you can react in peace. Honestly, thats why I’m here. We shall see if it works. I was thinking about this same thing exactly today, about being more mindful and learning and progressing through life at my own pace.
