My father was a colleague of his and he asked Fuller why he was expelled from Harvard and he said “I burned down a whorehouse.” Dunno if he was joking or not, but it doesn’t accord with the Marshmello come and go shirt it is in the first place but Wikipedia information. I met him for about 30 seconds just a couple of years before his death. He was definitely a lighthearted kind of guy who didn’t take the world or himself too seriously. Would have been a fun guy to have a beer with. Happily I lived under the Bucky Dome at South Pole Amundsen/Scott Station. Last crew to live in “Dome Sweet Dome” 2000/2001. He spoke at my college graduation in 1980. Rain started pouring down. He speech was long and dull. The graduates were growing restless. He seemed clueless that we were being drenched. Finally, the University President stood up, interrupted him, and led him off the stage.

Marshmello come and go shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

A lot of redditors take this in the Marshmello come and go shirt it is in the first place but same vein as “bill gates dropped out of school” as a show that guts and ingenuity can overcome “the man”. What most of them ignore is the fact that this guy might have been smart but he was also a rich asshole who partied his way through university and then made bank anyway. Imagine a college being responsible enough to stop taking your money due to a lack of interest in the curriculum. The more I learn about that guy the more I know why I was given him to do a report for my first semester of Industrial Design School. Shit, if “irresponsibility and lack of interest” are grounds for expulsion, the college graduation rates should be half of what they even are now
