A long time ago I was playing Phantasy Star Online on Dreamcast and I noticed that people helped female characters quicker than they helped male characters. In halo reach you have the Marquez Valdes-Scantling football wide receiver Kansas City Player Map T-Shirt and I will buy this advantage that the voice is different while sprinting so that you can clearly hear if somebody else is nearby A lot of good answers here, but here’s another. I play dead by daylight. You can play as male of female survivors. The reason why myself and my friends play as women is because their body size is smaller. Due to this there is a little bit of a competitive advantage to having a smaller body size int the game. The last role playing game I made the character look like my wife, and I got it quite close (relative to the limited character creation at least).

I like looking at something I find attractive or interested. If a game allows enough fun customizing I’ll play a guy but most don’t. It’s just something a bit different. Most games have male main characters, so if I have a choice, it’s just refreshing to play as a woman every now and then for a change. I actually have 1 male and 1 female I always create in games with character creation. They’re always the Marquez Valdes-Scantling football wide receiver Kansas City Player Map T-Shirt and I will buy this same characters. I asked this casually at a board game night, but I specified that it was specifically when the options were cosmetic only; I’ve played a few games were classes were gender locked, like Diablo 1’s Rogue, and generally people assumed I was a woman, and sexually harassed me. The only person who did gave me an answer that I will never forget, and I still find it cringe to this day, “If I’m going to look at someone’s ass for the hundreds of hours I’m playing, it better be a girl’s”. I like the smaller aesthetic. I don’t want to be big, bulky, smash face. I would rather be slender, sleek, and dexterous looking, and those are usually the two options male and female characters fall into. Its sometimes plain and simple role-playing. Sometimes the female option is more interesting than the male one provided the game does take that into account. Cyberpunk 2077 was just so much more interesting to me as Fem- V as it both opened and closed different story paths with some characters. Also her voice acting was phenomenal. In other cases its the aesthetic alone. Armor sets look better on female characters than their male counter parts in a few games. I’ve seen a few Destiny 2 players say that they prefer the female titan over male titan class because its not so bulky and I tend to agree there.
