This fellow says proudly ‘I have a flat in Bangalore’. I avoid him most times. The others are nice only brother 🙂 Jackasses are everywhere! They are not limited to North India. Point anywhere and you can find more than one jackass. I have called out such behavior and went full rage mode on the call. No one dared call my team any names after that. I’ve learnt one thing in my org. No one, absolutely no one cares about your designation (unless CxO or 1 level below CEO) when it comes to dealing with nonsense. I am generally non-confrontational but if something ticks me off- especially rude people – I blow my top off. I’ve yelled at people who were being rude to security personnel, cos it has been drilled into our head that designation does not matter when respecting another human being. All of them my man. Do not take shit from anyone, you will realize it does not hurt to speak up. People end up respecting you more, and assholes are made apparent to all.

Does it matter higher management or not, what he did is wrong and things like this shouldn’t be left unchecked. If your company has one, use it to anonymously report this incident. Might not amount to anythingimmediately, but adds up if same individual keeps getting reported. Shows a pattern. He has already been reported few times, not exactly for the same issue. The leeway he has been given says a lot about the company
