Here’s the Make America Flag Honk Honk Shirt but in fact I love this deal: the “wall” was just something to rally the troops, get the voters excited, raise the level of hysteria. It NEVER made any sense. EVER. What makes sense? Fix E-verify. Force everyone to use E-verify to hire anyone — a nanny, a gardner, a research analyst, ANYONE. No one who can’t pass can be hired. And keep making E-verify better, too. If you’re coming here because you’re thinking you’ll die if you stay where you are, then we can check that out. If you’re coming because you want to work, well we have no work for you. Exceptions might be made for field workers; see the program and sign up. And if you’re here illegally, you don’t get welfare. We’ll feed and house you until we send you back. If you’re here illegally and have a kid, the kid isn’t an American citizen. That’s how it ought to work. No one here illegally ought to be here more than a few days. They shouldn’t be able to work, not anywhere and not at anything.

You don’t need a damned wall. Walls are stupid. But they light up the Make America Flag Honk Honk Shirt but in fact I love this dimbulbs. And why isn’t there any effort to fix E-verify? Because the Republicans don’t want it. It would remove a way to light up those dimbulbs. How do they know that each of those breaches was by smugglers? There’s a decent chance that some of those people were only smuggling themselves. EDIT: Don’t really care that much, but I don’t understand the downvotes. There are obviously smugglers and bad people who try to, and succeed in, entering the US. But these 3,000+ breaches are all being attributed to “smugglers,” and I see no backup for that assertion. Characterizing everyone who illegally enters the US as a “smuggler” without evidence to support such an assertion seems pretty biased to me. Anyway, enjoy your downvoting. ❤️ Yes, after the idiot we have now stopped construction on it. A half built boarder wall would OBVIOUSLY lead to breaches.
