It’s a situational thing for some. Why are you going out wearing things that you wore to get me, when you have me now? Or why are you putting yourself in a situation where things can get to a point. That’s one perspective. Of course very sexy has levels too and you didn’t define what you meant by very sexy. It could be form fitting, very little clothing, or something else. I find jeans and a white shirt super sexy sooooo. It’s because of what goes through their mind when a girl is in sexy clothes is with them. They’ll say whatever they have to say to get in your pants. So once that’s worked they think the rest of the world is like them and that you’ll fall for the same trick some other bloke has.

I always lived my wife dressing sexy, people look at her cause she’s a beauty, but she chooses of her own free will to be with me. If she doesn’t want to anymore, good, I don’t want someone that doesn’t want me, so we’ll part ways. It’s waaaay less insecurity, way more trust and way more chill. Or, he might have an objection because she’s been emotionally abusive and is trying to make him jealous. Maybe both are true. Ultimately, partners should make eachother feel beautiful, and good about themselves in general. You can say, “thats not my job” or “blah blah co-dependency” but that just means you stopped looking at this as a team effort.
