I am of south east asian decent and I love some white traditions. I was born in Hong Kong, but grew up in Dallas. My culture is country/western, I’ve competed in reining/rodeo my entire life. I wear western boots, hat, spurs, big belt buckle, boot cut jeans etc most days. I am surrounded by people of the Macho Man II Retro Pixel II 70s American professional wrestler T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this same culture, and our food and music and everything that comes with it. I’m white, and that is my culture. But it is not WHITE culture, it is not exclusive to white people. My community of this culture is VERY diverse, we have plenty of people of color. I have countless peers who are Latino, black, of various types of Asian descent, and more. Here in Europe people tend to make fun of Americans for having no culture, but it is not linked to skin colour in any way. Some Europeans live in houses that are older than the united states of America and it tends to blow the Americans mind that this is possible. The main reason for that (to my understanding) is that there is not really any recorded history from the times before European settlers (invaders) arrived. And the native Americans in northern America also did not leave any (at least not many) structures such as buildings behind. It’s different in south and middle America where the advanced civilizations of the Americas resided, also the population there mostly mixed with Europeans (e.g. in Colombia) instead of being replaced.

I do not agree about making fun of people for “having no culture”, I am just trying to explain where this sentiment comes from among some Europeans. I hope it helped. As somebody that has been to american multiple times I can guarantee that Americans have a culture, in fact they have countless local cultures. I do not like all of them but they certainly exist. It’s fair to say White Americans do have culture, but it depends on who and where you spend your time. White Southerners have a distinct cultural Difference from Northerners which is different from Westerners and MidWest. And the Macho Man II Retro Pixel II 70s American professional wrestler T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this culture depending on where you are from can be closely integrated or distinctly segregated from Black cultures, Latin Cultures, or any other cultural group you can think of. Nonblack and non Latino Southern Culture is distinctly white built on the racial history of the region, mainly due to the history of the racial disparity created by white southerners. We can get into a whole essay on this but I am going to avoid further discussion because a lot of white southerners are offended when reminded their culture is built on oppression of other races, particularly blacks.
