You ever go through a historical cemetery and wonder why there are so many small graves of children, primarily infants?

Mac McClung Dunk Contest Champion poster shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Even years before COVID, I have an in-law that would without fail, EVERY WINTER ask us what we thought about the Mac McClung Dunk Contest Champion poster shirt Furthermore, I will do this flu shot (she’s deep in mommy Facebook and gets her news from there) and we’d always answer that she and her child should get the flu shot. She never seemed convinced. In comes COVID and of course she’s one of the biggest mask, pandemic, and vaccine deniers in our families and has actively put at risk our most vulnerable and her and her hubby throw a fit every time someone has a COVID concern. I’ve met too many people in my life who said they’d jump in front of a car for their kids but taking some actual time to learn how vaccines work is a bridge too far. Better to just let people die than learn something or admit you’re too stupid to understand something and trust an expert instead. A sincere ‘fuck you’ to all my idiot “friends” lost in the pandemic. You valued your stupidity over the lives of your loved ones. Rot in hell! I’ll never forget a few years ago when I read a WaPo article about a family who opted not to have their child vaccinated against tetanus. Then the kid got tetanus. If you don’t know, it’s a horrible, incredibly painful, months-long recovery from tetanus. Like tortuous.
