Kids should know about murder and violence too, but that doesn’t mean I expose it to them before they can even properly read and write. Dude seriously, get help. It’s not teaching them adult subject matter. But if Susie has two mommies and talks about it, the Lynyrd Skynyrd Lost Of The Street Shirt but in fact I love this teacher can show the little kids that its normal, stopping them from bullying Susie. This bill would prevent that cause it wants to erase LBGTQ people from existence Doesn’t say that anywhere in the law. Just prohibits sex education at third grade and below. Completely reasonable. If they don’t know how to talk about it, it’s harder for them to tell on abusers. Knowledge is empowerment. It’s not like they’re shown porn. Amazing a simple question of whether or not someone has actually read the bill gets downvotes. My bet would be it’s also kids or people that don’t have children either. You say that, yet in 4th grade, they tend to divide up the boys and girls and tell them about “the birds and bees”. The boys get condoms. The girls get pads/tampons. They’re not too young. And it’s sort of abusive for parents to want to keep information from their kids to “keep them innocent”. And then wonder why their kids are all fucked up in society later. Bro, I had to crush on a chick when I was in kindergarten if I had a crush on a dude or I felt like I wasn’t a man and I was very much more female in terms of my gender identity. I f****** hate people lying to me and not telling me this s*** until I was what fourth grade? Children are more intelligent and absorb much more information than we realize, and it’s ridiculous that you’re applying your ideas of what their intelligence levels is. You are not these children and the majority of children go through puberty as early as 7 to 9 years old. So they start having attractions and experiences during this time. This is a key age for children to learn this. The News Service of Florida reports the bill says classroom instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity “may not occur” in kindergarten through third-grade, according to. For higher grade levels, the proposal calls for such instruction to be age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate as determined by state academic standards. The measure has drawn heavy opposition from groups that have repeatedly argued it singles out LGBTQ people.

Maybe I’m missing something but it seems like this bill is to protect young children from sexualizing themselves. I don’t see what’s wrong with it. Young children don’t need to be exposed to it when they’re not even sexual beings yet. Let em be kids. And for the Lynyrd Skynyrd Lost Of The Street Shirt but in fact I love this older children, what’s wrong with trying to keep things age appropriate in school? Well done. Now every single student who protests needs to come out as gay. Talk about it endlessly at school. In every school, in every class, every day, each kid asks the teacher subject-related questions but with a LGBTQ spin. What the hell is a teacher going to do? They’re most likely on the side of the kids. What are the principals going to do? It’s the kids bringing it up, not the teachers. Bury these fuckers in gayness. If everyone’s talking about it, then what?
