-Sally found love for someone other then herself. Found her calling in being a proper teacher. Now she can raise her son right while still being involved with acting, just without the Lucky Dog Just Say No To Boring Guitars 2023 Shirt In addition,I will do this narcissism of Hollywood. Not sure if sally is raising her son right, she’s still the same self absorbed pos, they make a point of her completely ignoring her son saying I love you only for her to once again think only of herself and her work, I would believe that if she even bothered to respond to her son in that moment. Except she has no affection towards the son in that last scene, he says “love you” and she just ignores it and asks if her play was good. Then looking at the flowers in the car as if the flower was her child. Idk if I’m satisfied with the ending. I was expecting Barry to turn himself in but then Gene’s actions indirectly reshaped the narrative in-universe

Barry never changed when it mattered. He could have done the Lucky Dog Just Say No To Boring Guitars 2023 Shirt In addition,I will do this right thing a thousand times. Too little, too late. Plus he only wanted to turn himself in after he already lost everything. Sally and John were gone and he would never be with them again. Cousineau hates him. Fuches said his goodbye. Barry has nothing to live for, so why not just go to jail so he can pretend that he’s redeemed? He specifically didn’t want to turn himself in until he realized that Sally and John were gone for good. You can see the realization hit him, and as soon as he realizes there’s nothing to be selfish over, he decides to turn himself in. The ending exceeded in its goals. Bill explicitly said he did not want to glorify Barry. He hammered home that Barry was a sociopath all the way up to the end — and Barry’s sociopathy destroyed lives directly and indirectly.
