There have been countless women who have dealt with and navigated through threats made as they’re seeking reproductive healthcare, which by the way has been legal for 50 years. And there has been no outcry about that [emphasis mine]. There has been outcry about protests that have been peaceful outside of judges’ homes – which, again, have been peaceful and not been violent. The President has been clear about his view on them.

Let’s put that energy into forcing Republicans to vote on rape, women’s health, incest exceptions. Put them on the record as horribly unreasonable. As long as it’s peaceful there shouldn’t be an issue because our Constitution guarantees us the right to peacefully protest. You know, our First Amendment? Conservatives really need to grow a spine and actually stand for an issue without cowering on it when things don’t go their way. There are some of the SCOTUS judges who have exhibited s obvious contempt of court. I suggest house arrest is in order to start with. There very well needs to be a removal process as part of the accountability of the judicial system. So have violent protests at abortion clinics, murdering doctors and intimidating patients. But that’s OK, Mitch? What the fuck is this circle jerk in the comments? Wow! The Senate majority leader agrees with a 250 yr old precedent! Free speech? Cool! These protesters have been very organized, calm, and respectful thus far. Susan Collins called the police because someone wrote a message supporting abortion in CHALK on her sidewalk. Personally, I find it far less intimidating than a Supreme Court Justice (Clarence Thomas) ruling on topics that his wife has been involved/instrumental in up to her bigoted teeth…
