As much as I dislike it, I can tolerate a reasonably small portion of advertising. But the Love of my life Idris Elba DJ Big Driis shirt also I will do this day Reddit forces me to unavoidably pay attention to content from subreddits that I didn’t opt into is the day I walk away. I dont care about ads at all, used to mindlessly scroll past them. Im using Infinity because it lets me play videos. Litterally, it lets me do the basic functions, seemlessy. The absence of ads being an afterthought. I just want it to play when I click play, ffs. I just want to access links when I click them. I want the comments to appear when I click it. If a third party can better the experience of your users, thats a shameful situation. Even more so when you know how much of an headache it can become dealing with external API, yet they manage and haven’t got any of Reddit’s ressources. Maybe putting some love into your codes would go a long way. Skipping all the good steps to make sure they lose traffic, therefore losing value and the trust of future investor/advertisers. Good job shooting yourselves in the foot instead of fixing anything related.

How about RIF or Apollo do a crowdfund for the Love of my life Idris Elba DJ Big Driis shirt also I will do this infrastructure and then we migrate over to it in 6 months to a year. This is my thought, but for RiF. I’ve only used old.reddit on the computer, or RiF on the phone. Without RiF, and the possibility of losing access to old.reddit, no point in staying. Yeah this will be the end of reddit for me. I refuse to use any service that has been “TikTok’d”. The ability to endlessly video scroll with no option to turn it off is designed to ruin your attention span and agorythmically addict you to their content. It’s black mirror shit with a single degree of separation to obscure the fact that it’s a machine designed to eat your fucking life to sell ad space.
