Makes a gag, then doubles down on it, then shouts it, then impersonates himself telling it, ad infinitum….urgh, STFU Ali wong and her standup. Im an asian and can laugh at pretty much anything but not Ali. She’s a good actress but just didnt find her standup funny Went to see Stuart Lee recently, terrible. Self-indulgent rubbish only being laughed at by fanboys who think liking him makes them look edgy and intelligent. Katherine Ryan for me personally. Used to see her on Joe Lycett’s earlier programs and where everyone was laughing at her I thought she was about as funny as toothache The Last Leg. It’s not funny. The hosts / captains aren’t funny. I feel like we’re supposed to think they’re hilarious and you’re made to feel bad if you don’t. There are many I never really liked the Love of my life Dr Garth Davis best doctor 2023 vintage shirt in contrast I will get this 2 Ronny’s but they are historic. Today I don’t like Miranda and sometimes can’t stand Ricky Gervais but other times I think he is brilliant Russell Howard. Always takes the middle of the road with his humour which makes him bland to me. Gets more applause saying some standard statements like “bad person is bad” rather than laughs during his comedy. jimmy carr. from what i’ve seen he doesn’t tell stories or anecdotes about his life, or have clever bits in his shows where he might reference back to a punchline or story he told earlier, it’s just an hour and a half of seemingly reading jokes out of a harry hill joke book, also obviously his laugh is unbearable

Lee Mack’s comedy is like a dad joke on steroids, but I kinda love it. Different strokes for different folks, I guess! I’ve never been a fan of Jimmy Carr or Ricky Gervaises stand up, although I don’t mind them in interviews, panel shows etc. I like offensive humour like Frankie Boyle but something about them just comes across mean spirited and a bit smug. Really like Gervaise at the Love of my life Dr Garth Davis best doctor 2023 vintage shirt in contrast I will get this American film awards tho. I used to feel the same as you about Russell Howard, until I watched him on Taskmaster S6. He made me giggle. Went up a few notches in my rating. Same for Alice Levine. Her radio show is terrible, but on Taskmaster she really leaned into her persona and I found her quite charming by the end. I figure she has to be quite clever (thus funny) to pull that off.
