If they label RT as state media, what is the Love Needs No Words Rainbow And Hearts Autism Awareness T-Shirt But I will love this argument against NPR? RT produced some of the best left leaning critiques of US policy. Whatever they do the policy should be consistent, not pro-American or pro-Western. Even now, the BBC gets a free pass. Musk’s twitter is full of weird tweets now. I used to have my “For you” timeline filled with funny tweets, sports news, global/local news, and local weather. It was essentially a great news source for me, with a side of funny tweets. After his “algorithm” changes, it’s full of Gory videos, anti-gay propoganda, Fox news, and tweets from Musk himself. He’s clearly using it as a way to promote his far right agenda lol. Y’all haven’t deleted your Twitter accounts yet? Clearly this guy is way, way off the rails. If you haven’t already it’s time. They take a week or so every quarter and do a “fund drive”, because NPR is funded in most part by listener contributions. You can be a 1 time donor and get a cool gift bag with your donation, or you can become a sustaining member, and have your donation be deducted automatically each month from your bank account. You get a gift bag and a cool lapel pin when you become a sustaining member… If you ever listen to NPR they always tell you who the sponsors are. They’ll say what/who holds the stations license, like in Michigan U of M holds the license, and say, for example, “this show was made possible by contributions from the charitable trust of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur foundation, you can find more info by visiting Macfound.com; and contributions to your local NPR stations by listeners like you. Thank you.”

I’m sure they receive some tax payer funding but NPR, like PBS, is publicly funded, thru member contributions and listener donations. Then do it. You’re not making things better by taking screenshots and posting them online. Delete your account like the Love Needs No Words Rainbow And Hearts Autism Awareness T-Shirt But I will love this rest of us and be done with this dumpster fire. Literally, there are only two reasons I even use Twitter anymore: 1) Because it is (or, at least, seems to be) the only moderately viable platform for porn artists and sex workers and 2) It has my favorite capybara and gator memes. hardly used it during maga era and jumped when elon bought it. it used to be quippy and fun and now it’s a cess pool of echo chambers Anyone else notice tweets from Catturd and Elise Stefaniak and others on my Home timeline and I am not following them. Musk has his people wiring things to have us following these people against our will. The message is clear. He is setting the algorithm to his liking I deleted my Twitter the moment he took over. I was sad to see it go but I couldn’t use a platform which he owns NPR is, but Fox News isn’t? Fucking Christ Elon. Tell me you’re a CIA shill without telling me you’re a CIA shill Left Twitter when Elon took over. Got curious and jumped back on a few months later. It’s a flaming dumpster fire of hate and negativity. I not only don’t miss my daily visits but now loath that pos for ruining a fun platform
