Why even bother with Airbnb then? I want my travel to be stress free as possible. Accommodations are usually the Love Mamaw Life Gnome Christmas Xmas Family shirt but in fact I love this thing I worry about the least when traveling (weather and planes should be the hardest.) Consumers aren’t going to do that. Just book with superhosts. I am a superhost myself and the cancellation rate should be less than 0.1% to keep my status active, which means I basically can’t cancel ever. I had an issue once when my cleaner broke her leg and I was trying to find someone else available and only this rule was keeping me to not cancel the booking and try harder finding someone else. To the people that advise going to booking.com, its not the same really, airbnbs are more convenient because they are apartments, have kitchen, sofa, proper dining table. And, the apartments in booking.com can also cancel your booking.

That’s the Love Mamaw Life Gnome Christmas Xmas Family shirt but in fact I love this thing though, the host is a Superhost. That’s why I wasn’t really worried about my booking getting cancelled or something You can cancel three times a year without penalty as superhost. I was cancelled on by a superhost, this OP was, many others have been. This isn’t trip cancellation by the guest or interuption. There isn’t a product that exists for when your lodging provider cancels on you, especially when they are being refunded in full. If you want to disagree I understand, but please post one example of the product you believe would have kicked in so we can all look at it. yeah 🙁 No worries man. You suffered the same defeat the rest of us who knew enough to answer this question did too lol. I believe Airbnb displays something on the host’s reviews like “The host canceled this reservation ….. before arrival” That’s a safe policy as far as im concerned. Even once is suspect. Those only come from things within a hosts control and not emergencies. Maybe a budget hotel? I had an annoying layover in Montreal last month, so I did day use at Hotel Monville and it was pretty good in terms of space/price.
