I’ve personally only had pretty low bar issues with drivers. But, I also live in a small town, and some mfers want to order a shit ton of food 12 miles away and not tip even an extra dollar because they’re too cheap, so to make it worth it I’d have to drive 30 minutes to the more busy cities to even attempt to make a profit while dashing. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s not. But it isn’t just the dashers, I’ve had some very suspect customers pull some whack ass shit. Definitely had an order or two that would’ve probably turned out to be a robbery if I had taken the order. Who orders a single cookie from McDonald’s when you live in the known “crackhead neighborhood” that’s also literally a 5 minute walk from the McDonald’s you’re ordering from? Nah, fam, I’m not stupid

Stopped ordering from door dash after numerous times food were delivered cold/late and saw my dasher do like five other pickups and drop offs on the Love Cleveland Guardians Cavaliers And Browns Signatures 2023 Shirt also I will do this way. But the final straw was the last three orders from them a nasty car that could be seen with trash in the dashboard and borderline hoarder conditions would pull up with 4/5 people crammed in a 1996 Taurus or whatever and my food reeked of cigarettes. Each time car packed full of people chain smoking and more than likely taking turns being a dasher and saving money in gas. Plus I hate the whole pre tip before service.
