IMO, Predator is an advanced alien race that still holds hunting traditions. Hunting for them is a noble cultural tradition. They are not present on earth to conquer or exterminate humans. It’s a sport for them. While they of course have the Louis tomlinson faith in the future eye graphic classic shirt and I will buy this tech to vaporize earth, that’s that their interest. It’s similar to most modern big game human hunters. Most are doing it for tradition, thrill, experience, etc. Humans have the capacity to kill every elk in existence with modern military weapons, but it would serve no purpose for us. On the upside if it is a lone female warrior vs a Predator, the can keep the special effects more practical hopefully and it wont look as bad as the new ones. While I understand your sentiment I argue that this is an original take on the franchise. Plus who doesn’t love seeing the predator on the big screen more?

I don’t see how this will work. Am I supposed to assume that a bunch of Indians some how stood a chance against an advanced race of aliens who’ve committed their entire way of life to hunting a killing species from all over the Louis tomlinson faith in the future eye graphic classic shirt and I will buy this galaxy? I’m more interested in seeing stories set in universes with established characters like this than more “cannon driven sequels or prequels”- Prey is being called a sequel and I really don’t care about it fitting in with the first Predator movie or frankly any of them. I would be more interested in seeing unchained stories with familiar places and themes. It’s what made Mandalorian appealing to me; something familiar but new enough to allow it to tell it’s own story. In my mind, I’d like to see one-off movies set in Predator, Alien, The Fifth Element, Harry Potter, etc… the worlds are built. The iconic characters are in place. Give us new, well written stories with interesting characters and don’t worry about Dutch and Co anymore.
