If I had a school trip or something, I’d sign the forms myself and just tell her when it was and what I needed. Yeah, my mother knew I knew her signature, so she told me to just sign everything for school since I was like 9 (we got quite a lot of notices for unimportant stuff). I also wrote sick notes for everyone in my class for PE because I could copy almost any handwriting. I found my brother’s collection of practiced forged notes in his old magic set. I told on him. But then I went on to do the same thing. My dad had a stupid amount of meaningless paperwork to sign for his job, so he taught us his signature and paid us a few cents per document we signed. So we had a free pass in highschool. Though his signature was scribbles anyway and hardly looked like an adult did it to start with.

I was pretty artistic and had good hand writing. Im sure an expert could spot my forgery but my teachers sure couldn’t lol. My best friend had me do it if she forgot to get a legit signature. My awful handwriting looked really close to her mom’s awful handwriting lol! That’s why I’m glad my dad had illegible handwriting and his initials were all tall letters. Made it so easy to forge his signature. When I hit high school my dad started signing with an X and told me to please just sign everything for him because he wanted nothing to do with it. The easiest of forges lol I tried forging a signature once. It was a really dumb form that was permission to get permission to get a form to go on a field trip. Nothing legally binding or meant anything. Like, does you kid wanna go to a museum and not sit alone in a classroom for a day? Yes or no. I used another form my mom had actually signed ( she didn’t sign this one because it was stuck between a few other needlessly signed forms) and practiced with a blank while tracing it. The final signature looked immaculate. They still somehow knew. The next two waivers were also signed without a glance. I never tried forging her signature again but in hindsight they really made parents sign a bunch of needless shit.
