I once found this note when I was delivering mail. The kid slipped it in the Looking For The Christmas Spirit The Real Ghostbusters shirt Furthermore, I will do this outgoing mail. The thing is that my dad was pretty severely an alcoholic and also suffered from other addictions, and I knew that he had been really out of it that night. So I gambled that he wouldn’t remember much and decided to use that to my advantage. I went to him and said, “Do you remember signing that homework notice last night? Well, my teacher is going to call tonight about it because he doesn’t believe you signed it.” Of course, my dad pretended that he did remember signing it because he didn’t want to admit how little he remembered of the night before, and so he just corroborated my story when my teacher called.
