How ridiculously intelligent and verbal and self-aware my girls are. My 6 year old will say things like, “I’m very upset but I’m trying to tell my brain that it’s OK.” That it is even more important to comment on / praise the Look into my eyes the next round is on you bear watercolor T-Shirt moreover I love this effort and perseverance that a girl puts in to achieving her goals than for boys instead of how cute she is or how smart she is as apparently the effort and perseverance praise comes towards boys more often. School work and life in general gets much harder in high school and if you are praised for things that you are instead of things that you have done you may be stuck thinking that what you are is not enough to get through it when the problem is that it is no longer enough to rely on native talent and you have to put it a lot more effort and perseverance. Put issues adults can’t even deal with healthily into the underdeveloped mind of a child, I would be very dramatic too lol. Any time I hear something like that from my girls, I always ask “who told you that?” 99 percent of the time they heard it from someone at school, or their bitch cunt piss-poor excuse of a mother told them something they didn’t need to hear.
