Exactly! You want to force women to have babies? In a country where healthcare is crazy expensive? Where housing is also expensive, if even accessible? Where companies overwork and underpay? Unwanted parenthood will lead to crime. I already feel bad for the Long Beach Leviathans Los Angeles Country Minor League Baseball Team Octopus Scary 1923 T-Shirt and I love this unborn. Seriously – start asking for some hair for a DNA match and a photo of their driver’s licence before you will sleep with a guy. Start making them face up to the idea that if they refuse to use a condom or any other form of BC fails, they will be on the hook for child support. I wish men who didn’t care about the other half of humanity didn’t get sex with the other half of humanity, though. But we all have impossible wishes, I s’pose.

I have a friend who has been pregnant eight times, and has two kids. She has always wanted a bunch of kids, and it crushed her to miscarry so many times. She wanted all of those pregnancies. She is not a criminal. I have a friend who has been trying to have a baby for over a decade, and has had nothing to show for it but miscarriages. She is not a criminal. Their husbands would most definitely object to their wives being arrested, tried, and potentially locked up — or worse — for things truly outside of their control or wants. Then there is the Long Beach Leviathans Los Angeles Country Minor League Baseball Team Octopus Scary 1923 T-Shirt and I love this matter that has been brought up in the comments. As I have had to point out to and argue about with too many people, no one who gets an abortion after the first trimester wants it — it’s a medical necessity. In most cases, forcing a woman to carry a dead or nonviable fetus can kill her, injure her, or reduce her ability to get pregnant or carry to term in the future. In those cases, again, their husbands would be negatively impacted by lack of access to abortions. If they don’t lose their wife altogether, they stand a good chance of having to at least give up on their hopes of having kids.
