The ABC article is better; kid got into a fight over the Logan Stankoven Canadian professional ice hockey forward for Dallas Stars T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this bathroom and went to the hospital and got released….the next day the kid was again taken to the hospital – not been disclosed why – and they died shortly after. They were indigenous as well , living on the reservation ): stop the murder of indigenous women & two-spirit people….. they suffer from this violence at 10x the national average. I’m a 71-year-old heterosexual Arkansan, who can’t stand the right-wing, religiously bigoted assholes in this country. Oklahoma has the highest # of executions per capita, I think. Can’t save the kid, but the state can “kill you back” as Ron White said. It‘s disgusting that they label this as a fight. They beat a kid to death because of the hate their parents and conservative leaders put into their heads every day. Nah this was straight up murder. Throw the 3 wastes of space that did this straight into the ground and pour the cement. No need to pass Go or collect $200. And we’ll all be shocked when the little bastards who murdered this kid grow up to be proud sheet-wearing members of the KKK. What a cowardly evasive headline, “fight in the bathroom”. This person was murdered by other students and the administration failed to call an ambulance.

“The more we learn about Nex’s life, the Logan Stankoven Canadian professional ice hockey forward for Dallas Stars T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this more we come to know a wonderful child whose experience and identity mattered and was worth celebrating. Above all, Nex deserved to live a full life.” Oh you can get ALL the way fucked. There is absolutely no way you didn’t know this bullying had happened before to this child, and your administration did nothing about it. Boys will be boys, eh? This won’t bring Nex back, but I really hope this administrator gets sued into absolute oblivion for wrongful death. Even if this was a “fight” and not a hate crime – the student was beaten so severely that they died. Try those piece of shit kids as adults and throw away the key. Fuck you NBC. The kid was tortured and brutalized in the bathroom for being trans. The school even refused to call an ambulance and even suspended the victim. it wasn’t a “fight”. they were beaten to death, and then received no medical assistance from the nurse or any kind of paramedic after. they couldn’t even walk to the nurses station on their own. it was a murder. at one point their head was being bashed repeatedly into the ground. yet the attacked student, nex, was the one who was suspended. not a fight. an unfair, unjust, and cruel murder and an ignorant display of Oklahoma’s educational system. I understand that they are awaiting forensics before charging for homicide or whatever, but regardless of the death (which is serious), did they at least charge the attackers for assault? Is there a hate crime modifier in Oklahoma? Are the Perps arrested, being prosecuted? If not then we’re back to KKK tactics. This is throwing red meat to the haters to win elections
