I’ve done ethical non monogamy for years with great success. It makes me really sad how untrusting, unexamined, and reactionary people sound in here. I always talk to a potential partner about the Limited jalen hurts vintage 90s shirt Furthermore, I will do this relationship model I want before going on a date though so it wouldn’t be a surprise. If this question was about before hand/getting to know each other, this would make sense. There is a lot of poly folks out there. But if you are in an established relationship for a good minute AND THEN bring up the desire for an open relationship (which it appears is being asked here), then you can expect pushback from monogamous people. It’s not about being cruel or reactionary. It’s about not respecting the monogamous individuals boundaries and desires. It also does damage trust because unless those in a relationship discussed preferences before hand, it comes out of left field and is a vulnerable matter. No one likes feeling trapped in a situation, even if that wasn’t the intention of the one who brought it up.

I can’t speak with as much experience about how it works meeting people randomly in the world. I mostly use dating apps like tinder/okcupid/etc. In my blurb it says very clearly that I’ve done ethical non-monogamy for many years and I’m looking for non-hierarchical but meaningful relationships. I imagine a lot of people nope out on reading that. That’s fine.
