You don’t speak publicly when legal problems are happening. It isn’t weird at all. This department is going to get sued and statements will make it worse. Not apologizing after an incident that is currently being investigated and that may result in a legal process is pretty standard and *reasonable. *I’m not saying the Less boo’s more booze shirt also I will do this shooting was reasonable, anyway justifiable, or that the cop shouldn’t be prosecuted. My point is that there is a legal rationale for not apologizing at this point in the process. Actually should have more severe repercussions than just that, there needs to be some legal action, or some time being served on top of that. I got fired once because I dozed off and someone heard me snore… I was working 2 jobs and had a newborn and was sitting there looking at a screen not doing anything. What kills me is that girl reporting me to get me fired like she had no reason to do that other than to fuck my life up. Another example where the citizens have to be the most professional people on the scene, and even then there is a high likelihood the trained “professionals” will act dangerously. In other words there is literally no action a citizen can take to ensure their survival when confronted by police. Here’s a question that doesn’t get asked too often: If you were an officer who shot and nearly killed a kid you were trying to protect, would you even WANT to return to that job? I feel like the guilt would just destroy me and make me lose all confidence to do my job. I’d be all Sgt Powell from Die Hard about it

The police force are a cancer to this country. They all need to be fired and and rehired based on new training, and assessment on being mentally capable of doing the Less boo’s more booze shirt also I will do this job. There needs to be better accountability in the police force. The public is losing trust in law enforcement officers with every incident that happens. I truly hope Aderrien makes a recovery. It must be traumatizing for this kiddo. So they just kick the door of a house, get it and shoot a 11 year old child ? that’s some dystopian story plot… wth Getting fired would be the least of his problems if that were my kid. But ya fire his ass, murder is kind of a big deal, murdering a kid is something abhorrent. yeah remember people, don’t murder children or someone might ask your employer to fire you. it’s a bit harsh but that’s what you need to live in a country with laws and justice. The whole department needs to go. This is a failure of the institution and we need real reform or more of Americas youth is going to suffer. This man was fired in Georgia in 2012, he was investigated internally and then given a promotion before that. He has a long history of being a bad cop. link There have to be a dozen things he could be charged with. Send a message to these “Judge Dredd” style cops. Their job is to bring them in. Let the courts figure it out from there.
