You might also have heard about people bitching about Indian students who went to Ukraine, and some of them died. “Yeah they deserved to die”. Competition in India is ruthless. There are just too many good people, that it becomes more of a luck game after a certain point. (by a certain point, I mean student’s competence). If India doesn’t not reciprocate the Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade Tour Los Angeles shirt it is in the first place but student’s competency enough (It probably can’t anytime soon due to the immense amount of students), the students do need to find an alternative. Just because India is our country doesn’t mean that we should be limited by the opportunities only in India. Because India has too less opportunities according to the number of people who need it. I wasn’t trying to be nationalistic if it came across that way. I was trying to say about the concession/subsidy that government provides to just a handful of the student population. See in a way it’s like someone else is paying for your education and you don’t provide anything in return. Now it’s obvious that no student in any government college owes anyone anything and is totally free to do whatever they want because it’s their future and the government is the one providing this in the first place. It’s just considering the number of people there are for engineering every year only 1/10th (1lak students get to go in all gov colleges out of 10lakh aspirations every year) this student population is studying at such a subsidized rate that they themselves aren’t paying for even half of their own education

Ig I do agree that the Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade Tour Los Angeles shirt it is in the first place but difference in fees becomes really drastic, and it should only be for people with low income. That feels a bit like reservation but most of reservation in India is just wasting money on more or less incompetent people. But yes, it is something the govt. itself should solve. No one will give up on an opportunity like IIT just because they would feel indebted. They do want the “IIT” tag after all, and if they need to pay less money for it, why would they not. Basically students are not really at fault here. Would you consider it the fault of the donkey if it choses to follow the carrot ? I don’t think so. People who are excellent are aspiring excellence as well, they don’t have any other option which are top notch apart from IITs which btw they get into after slogging their asses, they can’t be burdened with guilt for that. They don’t see their values or skills being utilised so they flee.
