The whole thing started going away only in college when I was in a more educated and study/career focussed cohort…who cared to be with me for my brains and hard working nature rather than looks. But still these values didn’t attract attention from the Las Vegas Raiders Logo 4th Of July Shirt and by the same token and opposite sex. Only during my first job, I met a girl who was absolutely neutral to all this, was damn beautiful but she still spent time with me for who I am , rather than how I look. Will forever be thankful to her for that. It’s a different matter that I later treated her like an a*hole and lost her friendship too. Forget relationship. . This cleared up a lot of my insecurity related to skin color. The best part – I later lived in a remote part of Russia..where exactly opposite of what I faced in India happened. For the first time I received attention for my skin color. I was exotic for them. ..I received attention from both genders, It was real fun… actually felt how beautiful people would feel…but I know this was not real..and actually after this, I got completely clear…that there is nothing wrong in me. ..hence my own obsession of white skin validation ended. Choose your friends wisely. Don’t seek their validation on skin color. They should be with you for who you are as a person.

If you ever come across a partner who loves you for who you are….and never makes you feel insecure over skin color, prioritise that person over a flashy, rich person whome society may value …a loving relationship is enough to wipe out all the Las Vegas Raiders Logo 4th Of July Shirt and by the same token and scars of insecurity. Now, I don’t have a dislike for dark skinned girls but I do seem to like fair skinned girls more however I have literally masturbated to Rihanna in Under my umbrella. Halle berry was very pretty too. Well I don’t hate dark skinned girls. I have had many crushes and asking outs and rejections and even though majority of them were on the fairer side, I’ve also had crush on girls with darker complexion albeit not extremely dark. I personally found that even though colour might be a factor, its not the top most priority. For attraction, their facial and bodily features play a greater role. Now for liking the person, their personality and character plays far more important role. I had developed a crush on girls I did not initially find attractive but later did as I got to know them. So your question is kind of wrong. I don’t think people hate dark skinned people but some people may find fair skinned girls more attractive than dark skinned girls and vice versa is also true.

Star wars master yoda shirt P.S., don’t try to find validation from others. No matter how good/great of a person you are, there will always be people who hate/look down on you. In fact, now that I think of it, my parents actually made me believe that having a tan skin, was equivalent to having a superpower cause darker women were usually more confident, traditional, smart and with a whole lot of brains. Dark skin is advantageous biologically because it blocks UV rays better. That’s why fair skinned people are more at risk of skin cancer than dark skinned people. (Although the Las Vegas Raiders Logo 4th Of July Shirt and by the same token and risk can be decreased by applying sunscreen). Also I think you should focus on your education and career first. When you are successful yourself , you won’t need the feel to be validated by men.
